Our Manifesto
Vision for Change
We believe that change comes with perspective, we have already as a group changed our environment, our operations, and our game as a whole, with new possibilities for conflict, and diplomacy, change is the biggest thing ahead of us, we need a station command that is not only ready to adapt and overcome, but is ready to go beyond and prepare before change is required.
It is all well and good for us to flog around whom we have commanded, what our achievements were like other candidates already have, but we need a command who doesn't live in their past glory, and will instead create new glory for us all, and to make sure those changes last, and that will fight for what they have done after the end of their term.
Key Priorities
Opportunity
Within the RAF, we hold a multitude of roles, from fixed wing pilots, logistics specialists, ground forces, policemen, and medical personnel, every single person in this group serves a purpose, but not all are given the same opportunity. We plan to change that.
Within our term, with our developmental expertise, access to Battlespace, and overall care for everyone's specialist trades, will look at giving everyone a chance for fun and glory in the job they desire, creating bonds between the most unlikely of team ups that this RAF has.
Community
Community is a vast word, especially for a group of these sizes, it means everyone's specific roles, their individual traits, and the people who have just started playing and don't know where to go. Community is what keeps this group going, and we need to continue letting it flourish.
With us in command, we promise to support all members of the RAF in achieving their goals and making sure all opportunities remain viable for anybody that has interest, creating more events for the community as a whole, and letting people have their voices heard.
Security
Security as a selling point sounds George Orwellian, like we want to make it impossible to raid, or to create rules of engagement so harsh on the local populace that we become war criminals. That is NOT what security means to us.
Security means the WORKING with the local populous, as well as the foreign nations around us. As the strategic bridge to the Middle East for the British armed forces, we are threatened, but in times of threat we can create peace, and safety. Working with the locals for any humanitarian needs, or threats they may face from any foreign adversary.
Policy
Policy is a strange one, most candidates will see this as a method to enforce some George orwellian rules, but to us policy takes a new meaning.
The power we hold in policies is almost none, if not none, so why do parties flaunt it around? It's because they don't think outside the box. With us, we will only try and strengthen existsing policies, not create new ones, and in extension, create a stronger bond with our allies, and look at ways we can improve our day to do with the policies we already work with.
Transparency
Transparency is key, in command offices, doors are closed, nobody outside of that inner circle knows what is actually going on. We want you to know!
Anything we do in our term of command will be made public, with a chance to speak for or against any changes, your voice matters, and we want to hear it, and we want you to hear ours. We are already in the process of building systems, like the one demonstrated on this website, that will streamline the way we communicate with you and how you can communicate with us, making any grievances, suggestions, or questions.
Our Commitment
Our commitment is to pave the way for this seat, to set the precedent of what it can do, what is expected of it and what its role ultimately means. We do not want this position to go to somebody that may ultimately create chaos, and distrust in the station command, we want to make sure that under us and any other station commander, it is used as a tool for good, and for progress.
We want to see this seat become something people in this group can approach with anything, something that is used to create new opportunities and new perspectives.
